Looking for myself

Journal Entry: Mon Nov 23, 2009, 6:28 AM
I'm blocked.

I've always had a little block about what kind of photography I should do, but know that I've been for almost a year here I take a look at my photos and I think something is wrong. It's not that I only have 15 watchers, the matter is that I don't feel I've done a good job. When I look at other's galleries I feel envy 'cause they know what to look and how to look at it.
I don't.
In my deviant profile says I'm a "general digital photographer", so I'll try not to be a hypocrite and open myself to new photography streams, like conceptual and that stuff. Maybe I'll find myself, maybe in two months I'll erase all this photos from my gallery and go back to street photography.
Only time will say.

But let's stop talking about me. It's time to show my features of unknown artist with talent:

Ali Mahdy ([link]). He has recently joined DA, but his artwork shows us his very particular and original way to look at reality. This can be seen in his recent photos, but it's quite an impressive evolution and he's facing an amazing path.

Burburia ([link]) is a great street photographer. He deals with colors and light to make some impressive shots. You won't waste your time passing by his gallery, this guy has talent.

Thipnara ([link]). I don't know if he's still alive, but his black and white photos are really good. Social photography well made.

Sajmiri ([link]). Her waterscapes are really beautiful, but now he's looking at the wild. Animals and macro are his new photos, with a beautiful and humble vision of reality. Deserves whatever you give her.

And finally quizkiddonniesmith aka. Greg ([link]). He's an excellent street photographer, with great compositions and a nice use of color. The fact that he has been here for a year and only has seven watchers is an insult.

No I don't like Alistair Darling but I bloody love his eyebrows.

My pleasure, that film is brilliantly done. You've made a great short, and looks like you've put a lot of effort on it. My congratulations for the result.

See ya.
:iconedbrew51:
De nada. You deserve it.

And thanks for answering. I'm glad to see that you've taken a look at my comments and used your time answering them.

I met in the street a very poor young man who was in love. His hat was old, his coat worn, his cloak was out at the elbows, the water passed through his shoes, -
and the stars through his soul.
:iconjfphotography:
thanks for the watch!
